She is also currently working on two stories: (1) Neon Muertos, that will contribute to a cultural and art festival in New York City in October/November, 2025 (Day of Dead 2025); and (2) Angel/Angela (a story about a soldadera told in a contemporary way).

Emma D. Enriquez is a LatinX artist living in Brooklyn, New York City. She is part of Generation X having returned to the world of art after career burnout as a lawyer in Los Angeles and single-motherhood. Her art reflects questions of identity and intersectionality as a middle-aged, first generation American with Mexican and German heritage. She is interested in what LatinX means today in the USA and globally. She draws from personal stories, Mexican murals and European expressionism to tell visual stories.

Since moving from Los Angeles to New York City in 2022, she has shown her art in two solo shows and 12 joint shows in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and the Lower East Side. She was named an "outstanding" altar artist at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles for five years, with her most recent installation - "A Tribute to Florian Schneider (Kraftwerk)" - taking place on October 26, 2024. Some of her Day of Dead artwork will be shown in Miami at Art Satellite (December, 2024) along with the Art Satellite gallery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan (December 4 - 14, 2024).
