The Mini-Market

The event also features a curated mini-Christmas marketplace with Day of Dead NYC branded novelty products and three emerging lifestyle brands and a vodka sponsor with an exclusive cocktail.  From handcrafted goods to innovative designs, we hope that the marketplace provides a unique shopping experience where visitors can discover the perfect blend of merry and scary.

We are an experiential platform for artists & brands to connect with consumers in a whole new way!

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSOR

ZAKUSKA VODKA

ZAKUSKA was born from celebrations around my parents’ dinner table.

Stories and jokes, heartfelt toasts and songs, all accompanied by delicious food and punctuated by cold shots of vodka.

ZAKUSKA isn’t like an ordinary, neutral vodka. We’ve distilled it from a mix of soft red winter wheat and corn, and left it unfiltered so a balance of flavors comes through with every chilled shot.

Find a reason to celebrate!

The Art

At the heart of the exhibit, is a painting, "A Little Bit Merry, A Little Bit Scary," that encapsulates the duality of celebration and introspection. We hope that this, and four other works, like “Neon Muertos” and “Cyber Charro”, add a few fantastical layers, blending traditional influences with futuristic aesthetics.  Two short films - to be played at various times throughout the event - offer surreal and emotional explorations of fun, tradition, and renewal.
